                                                                   About Us           Trading Philosophy           FAQ

                             __________________________________________________________________________

Will the returns be correlated to my other investments? Castle Pines Investment Management, LLC
trades in foreign currency pairs whose returns (both positive and negative) are definitely not correlated to
traditional investments such as equities, real estate or fixed income; all of which tend to be cyclical in nature.

How do you manage risk in the portfolio? Each trade will not only have a stop, but also a stop and reverse.
If the initial trade is in the wrong direction, the models will flip direction and react to what "is happening" vs. what
others "think will happen". The models also have trend and counter trend positions in the same currency pairs
simultaneously which creates a natural hedge and lets us capture profits no matter what the market environment
is at any given point in time. Each currency pair uses the same parameters to generate signals thus reducing the
risk of over-optimization. Placing contingent orders may not limit your losses to the intended amounts.

What are the trading signals based on? We use a proprietary, statistical algorithm that is reactive in nature
instead of predictive. The signals are primarily based on pattern recognition and how the markets react to those
patterns at different times during the day.

What are the tax implications of FOREX transactions? Positive returns on your account have a major tax
advantage over positive returns of other traditional investments. Currently, all capital gains on forex transactions
are taxed at the 60% long term capital gain rate and 40% are taxed at the short term capital gain rate for a
maximum tax rate of 23% per annum.

Can I open an IRA account? Yes, you can, but you must first open an account with an IRA custodian.
An individual cannot open an IRA with us directly (since we are not a custodial firm) but, you can ask
an IRA custodian to approve an FX trading account with Castle Pines Investment Management, LLC.
In order to proceed, GAIN Capital must have the corporate paperwork for the custodial firm on file. The IRA
holder may then submit an Individual Account Application to their custodial firm, who will then forward the Trading
                     Agreement on to GAIN.
We prefer to use Equity Trust as our IRA custodian and all necessary paperwork will
be included in account form email you receive upon your request.

Risk Warning

Forex trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors.

Trading foreign currencies is a challenging and potentially profitable opportunity for educated and experienced investors. However, before deciding to participate in the Forex market, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience and risk appetite. Most importantly, do not invest money you cannot afford to lose.

There is considerable exposure to risk in any off-exchange foreign exchange transaction, including, but not limited to, leverage, creditworthiness, limited regulatory protection and market volatility that may substantially affect the price, or liquidity of a currency or currency pair.

More over, the leveraged nature of forex trading means that any market movement will have an equally proportional effect on your deposited funds. This may work against you as well as for you. The possibility exists that you could sustain a total loss of initial margin funds and be required to deposit additional funds to maintain your position. If you fail to meet any margin requirement, your position may be liquidated and you will be responsible for any resulting losses. To manage exposure, employ risk-reducing strategies such as 'stop-loss' or 'limit' orders.

There are risks associated with utilizing an Internet-based trading system including, but not limited to, the failure of hardware, software, and Internet connection. GAIN Capital is not responsible for communication failures or delays when trading via the Internet. GAIN Capital employs back up systems and contingency plans to minimize the possibility of system failure, and trading via telephone is always available.
